Our Foundation
Blaine Ross, the founder of Forensic Death Consultants LLC, embarked on his distinguished career in public service in 2007 at just 17 years old. His journey began in the demanding field of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Operations (CBRN), where he excelled and graduated in the top 10% of his class from the United States Army CBRN School (USACBRNS), establishing himself as an expert in Weapons of Mass Destruction. His leadership and expertise earned him a position as a Deputy to the Provost Marshal's Office within his unit, and he played a pivotal role on the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team for the United States European Command (EUCOM).
Blaine's civilian career is equally impressive, marked by numerous completed courses in criminal and intelligence analysis, enhancing his investigative and analytical skills. In December 2017, he was admitted to the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) as a Deputy Coroner in the State of Georgia. His dedication to forensic science deepened with specialized training in Forensic Anthropology, focusing on Clandestine Grave Investigations, equipping him to handle sensitive and complex cases.
Blaine's expertise has seen him take on roles such as deputy coroner in several major Metro-Atlanta counties, where he has been instrumental in high-profile investigations. His innovative spirit was crucial in developing and implementing Georgia's first and only digital case management system (CODIMS), which enhanced the efficiency of forensic death investigations and organ & tissue donation processes. His leadership skills shone brightly during his tenure as the Interim Chief Deputy Coroner for Newton County, guiding the community through a significant period of transition.
Blaine has a unique niche and a proven track record in uncovering homicides that were previously overlooked or dismissed by other entities. His active participation on two different child fatality review boards in the Alcovy and Blue Ridge Judicial Circuits showcases his commitment to justice and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
